‘How to Install the FLD App for Android’

We will explain how to install the FLD app, which we have independently developed and recently released following extensive foundational research.

To use the FLD app, you will need to:

1. Register as a member.

2. Install the app.

3. Log in to the app.

Explanation of “Member Registration”:

Please click on View ‘App List’ in the SFM App Store.

Click ‘FLD HbA1c’ displayed on the app list page.

On the dedicated FLD HbA1c page, click ‘Log in’ as instructed in the note that states, “Logging in is required to download.”

Once you move to the login page, you will see the login screen.

Scroll down the login page to find “For new users”, click here.

Click the ‘New Member Registration’ button.

The screen will change to the member purchase procedure page.

Enter the required information to create an account.

Please note that the registered email address and password will be necessary for logging into the FLD App Store and the app.

Make sure not to forget your registration details.

Additionally, please do not share your registered information with third parties.

Fill in the necessary information and click the ‘Submit and Proceed to Purchase Procedure’ button.

If you select “Credit Card Payment,” a phone number verification screen will appear.

Enter your phone number, and an authentication number will be sent via SMS to your registered phone number. Entering this verification number will complete the authentication.

Clicking “Pay without using Link” allows payment without phone number verification, but for security reasons, we recommend phone number verification.

After authentication is complete, a screen to enter your credit card information will appear.

Enter the required card details and click the submit button to proceed with automatic payment.

If the payment is successful, ‘Paid’ will be displayed on the member page.

You can log into the member page using the “username” or “email address” and password that you registered with.

“App Installation”:

Next, we will explain how to install the app.

Ensure you are logged into the SFM App Store, select FLD HbA1c from the app list, and a download screen will appear on the app’s page.

Clicking the download button will start the app installation.

You may see warnings like ‘Potentially harmful file’ or ‘Install unknown app’, but please choose to continue downloading or installing.

When downloading the app, please note that using free Wi-Fi may prevent a successful installation. Ensure you have a stable connection during installation.

Once the installation is complete, ‘FLD HbA1c’ will appear as an app on your screen.

If the installation is confirmed, the app installation method is complete.

Explanation about “Logging in to the App”:

When you first launch the app, the ‘Disclaimer’ will be displayed. After reviewing the disclaimer, terms of use, and privacy policy, click “Agree.”

The FLD app requires biometric authentication centered on fingerprint recognition to protect user privacy. If you have not registered for biometric authentication, a notification will prompt you to do so; click “Move to Settings” to proceed to the biometric authentication settings page.

After completing biometric authentication, log in using the email address and password you set up during SFM App Store registration.

Once logged in, the measurement screen will appear. Clicking “Start Measurement” will initiate biometric authentication, and measurement will start afterward.

Ensure your smartphone is securely fixed, with the front camera directly facing your face during the measurement.

The measurement can be completed in about 10 seconds.

As long as your paid period is in effect, you can use the service without any usage restrictions.
