We collaborated with the Nagoya Railroad Group, Gunma University, and NTT Data to participate and cooperate in a demonstration experiment of autonomous buses in Aichi Prefecture.
Demonstration Experiment Period: April 8–12, 2019
Preparation Period: Approximately 3 months
This experiment marked the first demonstration of autonomous bus driving on public roads in Aichi Prefecture, conducted over a 4.5 km route between Owari Asahi Station and Aichi Medical University Hospital. Our company provided our software and experimental equipment for the integrated demonstration of a “Face Recognition System at Boarding” and offered technical support for the experiment.
