The launch of the first product in the “Future Laboratory Data™ Series” has begun.

Our company will launch the “FLD-A1c™,” the first in the “Future Laboratory Data™ Series” of new products capable of measuring biomarkers in a non-contact and non-invasive manner.

Product Overview

The “FLD-A1c™” device enables immediate measurement of pulse rate, oxygen saturation, and Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) simply by standing approximately 1 to 1.5 meters in front of its casing, which is equipped with optical instruments.

Hemoglobin A1c can be measured within the range of 4.6% to 6.5% based on international NGSP standard values. If the measurement exceeds this range, it will be displayed as “above 6.5.” The accuracy rivals that of blood tests, with results falling within ±0.22 of blood test outcomes for 90% of subjects, thus demonstrating exceptionally high precision.

Furthermore, regarding oxygen saturation, the device is capable of measurements up to one decimal place. Compared to contact-based pulse oximeters that only measure integer values, this allows for more precise measurement.

Features of the Product

  • The measurement automatically begins when the subject faces the optical device.
  • The measurement results are displayed in approximately 10 seconds.
  • Compatible with masks and glasses.
  • Non-contact design reduces the risk of infectious diseases.
  • Non-invasive, significantly lessening the burden on the subject.
  • Due to its non-contact and non-invasive nature, repeated measurements are easily achievable.
  • Bulk measurement enhances efficiency in the field.
  • Free from medical waste.
  • No need for wiring, adheres to medical facility standards, and features casters for high portability.
  • Security features available (optional).

Regarding Measurement Items

Oxygen saturation and pulse rate are referred to as vital signs and are considered crucial indicators of life activity in medical and welfare settings. Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) represents the percentage of glycated hemoglobin, which is hemoglobin bonded with glucose, an essential indicator for diabetes, as it plays a role in transporting oxygen throughout the body’s cells.

Typically, measuring these indicators requires contact-based devices or blood tests. However, “FLD-A1c™” enables simultaneous measurement of these parameters in a non-contact and non-invasive manner. This significantly reduces the burden and the risk of infections for both the subjects and the medical and welfare professionals.
