We have received feedback expressing interest in understanding the benefits of establishing the SFM App Store, and we would like to share our perspective on this matter.
In brief, there are mainly two key points:
- “Uniqueness”
Our company has always emphasized uniqueness in both hardware and software, focusing on developing our own future technologies. Our applications represent groundbreaking future technology. From this perspective, it is appropriate to not only consider releasing our applications through general app stores but also establish a system to release them in a more autonomous manner, allowing us to best serve our users. - “Profitability”
The usage fees from existing platform providers are relatively high, and in order to maintain high profit margins, it is deemed advantageous to operate our own app store.
Currently, the SFM App Store is aiming for a release in the near future. In parallel, we are progressing in consideration of applicable laws in various regions to enable global expansion.
