The “Smartphone Software Competition Promotion Act” (hereinafter referred to as the “New Smartphone Law”), which aims to rectify the monopolistic state of major platform operators and promote fair competition, will come into effect in Japan on December 18, 2025.
Our development of the “SFM App Store” for Android is nearly complete, and we will be releasing Android applications next month. In line with the enforcement of the New Smartphone Law, we will proceed with enabling the release of the iOS version of our application through the “SFM App Store.”
In addition, due to the implementation of the New Smartphone Law, our existing membership services will be terminated as of December 2025 (recruitment will cease by the end of this month). We will transition to a more accessible method moving forward.
We will provide updates regarding the detailed release schedule and method to the extent possible.
