Following a longstanding process of foundational research, we are pleased to inform you about the release of our uniquely developed ‘FLD App for Android’ as of September 22. We have received requests for detailed installation instructions, and herein provide the information.
The application can be downloaded from our proprietary app store, the ‘SFM App Store.’

To proceed from installation to usage via the SFM App Store, the following three steps are required:
- Member registration
- App installation
- App login
We will now provide detailed instructions on these steps below.
*Please note that the interface displayed may differ slightly from the smartphone display, as it is browser-based.
- Member Registration Instructions
Please click on ‘View Applications’ on the SFM App Store by SFM Corporation.
From the list of applications, select ‘FLD HbA1c.’
You will be directed to the application’s dedicated page. Click on ‘Login’ where it states “Login is required for download.”
Upon navigating to the login page, a screen similar to the one above will be displayed.
Below the login information input area, you will find a section for new member registration as shown below.
Click on ‘New Member Registration’ within the “For First-Time Users” section.
Additionally, you can access this screen by clicking here for the SFM App Store login page.
After transitioning to the new member registration screen, the following display will appear.
Please enter the required information marked with an asterisk (*) under ‘Member Purchase Procedure.’

The username and password you register here will be necessary for logging into the SFM App Store and app utilization. Please manage them carefully to avoid forgetting, and sharing with other users is strictly prohibited.
Once you have entered the necessary information, tap the ‘Submit and Proceed to Purchase Procedure’ button at the bottom of the input screen.
If there are no errors, the screen above will be displayed when you select “Credit Card Payment.”
Phone number verification is conducted to enhance security.
After entering your phone number, input the number displayed in the short message (SMS) sent to your registered phone number to complete the verification.
If you click on “Pay without using Link,” you may proceed with the payment without undergoing the verification (however, we recommend phone number verification).
Upon successful verification, the credit card information entry screen will be displayed.
Enter the necessary information here and click the blue “Submit” button. If there are no discrepancies in the registered details, payment will be processed automatically.
Once the payment is successfully processed, confirmation will be displayed on your member screen, as shown above.
To verify the information on your member screen, enter your registered “Username” or “Email Address” and “Password” on the login screen. This concludes the purchase procedure.
- Installing the App
Upon successful payment, select “FLD HbA1c” from the “Application List” and click on the ‘Download’ button displayed as above (you must be logged in to the SFM App Store). Clicking the ‘Download’ button will begin the installation of the app.
If a message indicating ‘This file may be harmful’ appears, please choose “Continue downloading.”
Additionally, if a warning about “Installing unknown apps” appears, you can proceed with the installation by selecting “Install.”
Please note that if you are using free Wi-Fi for installation, it may not proceed correctly. Ensure a stable internet connection for the installation process.
Upon completion, “FLD HbA1c” will be displayed as an app on your screen (app names may vary according to versions, etc.).
Once installation is confirmed, the app installation process is complete.
- Logging into the App
Tap the installed app to launch the ‘FLD HbA1c’ application.
Upon launching, the ‘Disclaimer’ will be displayed. Please review the disclaimer, terms of use, and privacy policy, then click “Agree.”
For privacy protection, this app requires biometric authentication, primarily fingerprint authentication. If you have not registered biometric authentication, a prompt will appear on the screen to direct you to the settings. Click “Go to Settings” to access the fingerprint authentication settings. Once biometric authentication is completed, enter the email address and password set during your SFM App Store registration to log in.
Upon successful login, the measurement screen will appear. Click “Start Measurement,” and biometric authentication will be performed. After authentication, the measurement will commence.
For accurate measurement, securely hold your smartphone and ensure the front camera is directly facing your face. Measurements can be completed in about 10 seconds.
Note that throughout the paid subscription period, you can utilize the app without limitations on the number of measurements.
