SFM Co., Ltd. , in collaboration with the Nagoya Railroad Group, Gunma University, and NTT DATA, participated in and supported a demonstration experiment of an autonomous bus in Aichi Prefecture.

Preparation Period for the Experiment: Approximately three months
This experiment was the first demonstration of autonomous bus operation on public roads in Aichi Prefecture, conducted on the route between Owariasahi Station and Aichi Medical University Hospital (4.5 km). As part of the experiment, our company contributed by providing our software and experimental equipment for the demonstration of the “Facial Recognition System upon Boarding,” thus offering technical support.
